Another Actor For Governor: “Val Kilmer says he is strongly considering a run for governor of New Mexico…”
I heard that he loves his adopted home state.

Too Many Bureaucrats: More Americans employed by government rather than manufacturing or construction.
Troubling, indeed.

Caroline Kennedy Made Wise Choice

Caroline Kennedy Made Wise Choice: “cited personal reasons for her decision not to continue pursuing the Senate seat.”
It’s not like she was the governor’s first choice, anyway. Hopefully this staves off Princess Caroline’s political ambitions for another few years.
A New President Entitles Her

A New President Entitles Her: “No, we have a new president now – and some things are going to change.”
Assuming that the story is true, we have here a woman who thinks that just because the president looks like her, she’s entitled to drop all of her responsibilities, because he’ll ride to her rescue. Or is she making a statement that she will no longer pay her creditors who are White? What if she had an African-American landlord? Would she have said the same thing? Does she realize that she will be evicted if she refuses to pay her rent? Or does she think she can get away with this?
I really hope this is just an isolated case.
“Do not defraud your neighbor or rob him.”

Why the Obama Stimulus Plan Won’t Work: “This may seem harsh but the ultimate cure for a recession is recession. Economic booms “malinvest” labor and capital and recessions are necessary to “clean out” these malinvestments.”
Hmmm…. We’ll see if he is right. But meanwhile, many people suffer for it.
California Tries to Stimulate Economy With Public Works

California Tries to Stimulate Economy With Public Works: “Only four years ago, Riverside and nearby San Bernardino, often called the Inland Empire, were California’s economic powerhouse, accounting for more than a fifth of the state’s new jobs. Today, unemployment reigns in the sprawling region east of Los Angeles.“
This story hits close to home. In fact, just a year ago I had considered moving to those counties, where lower housing rates beckoned. Now I’m glad I didn’t make the move.
