Chinese Persecution of Christians Rises: “…Christians persecuted in China increased 157 percent. In Beijing alone, persecution increased by more than 400 percent over the previous year.”
Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

China Censored Obama Inaugural Speech: “This is the moment China’s state-controlled TV channel CCTV decided part of Barack Obama’s inaugural speech was a little, shall we say, unacceptable and hurriedly cut to a newsreader in their studio who seemed a bit surprised to be suddenly on camera.”

Hong Kong Hosts First Gay Pride Parade

Hong Kong, a conservative Asian city, had its first annual gay pride parade of 1,000 mostly Chinese participants from China (??!) and Taiwan.
“It’s time for Hong Kong to have a regular pride parade just like other modern Asian cities,” said an event organizer.
All “modern” Asian cities have gay pride parades? When did that happen? Do mainland Chinese cities like Shanghai have these kinds of events for gays? Once again, gays demand special attention wherever they go/live.
As someone of Chinese descent, I have to say that not only am I disappointed, but this event goes against 5,000 years of Chinese culture and history.
